How DSCPL uses AI

As teachers, parents and shepherds of the flock, it is our strong belief that you should do your own critical thinking, your own wrestling with the word of God, to teach, instruct and spur one another onward. AI should never supplement or replace your personal relationship with God.

You have no obligation to use the AI in our system. It is off by design, and opt in only.

We have designed it with purpose, and that purpose is to take your content and turn it into a user friendly design that you then review. We have purposely ensured you have to review every step and do a double check, to control what gets onto people's devices.

AI drafts discussion questions, family conversation starters, prayer prompts and challenges from the church's own passage and the admin's own teaching points.

Four rules govern it.

  1. Every church starts with it switched off.
  2. An admin turns it on, and can turn it off again at any time.
  3. Three generations a week, and an unused week is not carried over.
  4. A person reviews every generated item before anything publishes.
